Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technician 2 to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Days/Nights, on call. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation assistance eligible.*Featured Benefits:** *Committed to Team Member Health:* offering medical, dental and vision coverage, a robust team member wellness program.* *Retirement:* Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions starting on your first day.* *Tuition and Student Loan Assistance:* offering up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.* *Mental Health Support:* offering all Inova team members their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year at no cost.* *Work/Life Balance:* offering paid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, and remote and hybrid career opportunities.*Neurodiagnostic Technician 2* *Job Responsibilities:** Schedules appointments, greets patients/families and provides testing instructions.* Assists in monitoring quality improvement and the development/revision of Neurodiagnostic procedures and standards while serving as a role model/resource to Neurodiagnostic Technologist.* Performs complex electroencephalography (EEG) recordings including routine and/or portable EEG, neonatal EEG, cortical silence EEG and continuous bedside EEG monitoring by utilizing knowledge of EEG instrumentation and pattern recognition.* Positions patients/provides patients comfort by measuring and accurately applying electrodes in a timely manner according to the International 1020 System.*Neurodiagnostic Technician 2* *Additional Requirements:** *Certification -* Basic Life Support for all age groups; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for all age groups; Eligible for/or successful completion of Part II (oral) examination for registration by ABRET (EEG and/or Evoked Potential) or completion of examination by an equivalent examination body; Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist required unless have 10 years of Neurodiagnostic Technician experience* *Licensure -* None required* *Experience -* Three years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic or a Neurophysiological field in an inpatient or office setting; Experience performing advanced EEG/evoked potential studies* *Education -* High School or GED Graduate from an accredited program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology; Registry as an R.EEG.T is required.About UsWe are Inova, Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
