Job Summary: Fire Sprinkler Technician responsible for performing service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center and contact customer representatives to diagnose equipment/system problems.
  
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  
• Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals.
  
• Exhibit effective customer service skills and communicate with district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  
• Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
  
• Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
    
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
    
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
    
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
    
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders and working within ducts.
    
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
    
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
    
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements.
    
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
    
  • Must possess and retain a current State Fire Protection License or Journeyman License.
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • NICET Level II certification.
