This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multiple cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function in the Cloud. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. • Partner with the Program Manager and Chief Architect to ensure smooth program execution, strong team building, defending work share and growing scope.
• Responsible for providing technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams in the design, development, fielding, and support of the system.
• Represent the technical team to project managers, PTLs, functions and executive leadership.
• Responsible for developing the overall technical solution for a product or system.
• Decision authority between the System Architect and entire engineering team and is responsible for developing the overall technical solution for the system.
• Influences the design, development, test, and verification.
• Responsible for identifying and communicating technical risks and opportunities between the design team, system architect and program management team.
• Ensures design to Cost is part of the overall solution. Performs as the technical POC to the customer in support of the PM and PTL.Performs system design, technical performance, and other system needs, provide technical stewardship of the engineering effort for the entire program ensuring the solution meets customer programmatic and technical requirements within the allocated engineering cost and scheduleRequired Education, Experience, & Skills We are actively seeking to fill multiple positions within this Job category with candidates that have a minimum of 16 years' relevant experience. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in in applied sciences, engineering, computer science, or business management.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
  • 11 years' experience in support of a government customer
  • 11 years of technology development experience
  • Experience developing and overseeing implementation of technology investment plans in support of modernization and technology advancement strategies
  • Experience developing technology roadmaps in support of technology modernization planning
  • Experience managing technology development programs/projects to achieve cost, schedule, and technical performance expectations
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders across the organization to achieve technology development and program strategic objectivesLead and oversee a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domainsExpert troubleshooting and solutioning skillsSolid engineering rigorAbility to accurately solution and document complex infrastructures, System level integration and test of systems and subsystemsSystem verification and validationDefinition of system specifications, design, integration approach, and hardware/software compatibilityPreparation, installation, and maintenance of system componentsPost-install and post-upgrade system analysis and reportingCreation and updates of technical documentationVirtualization experience (VDI & VMWare)Significant AWS Cloud experienceAgile software development life cycleDoD 8570 CERTIFICATIONS (Security+, CASP, IAM, IAT, et al).Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
