Shift: 12-hour rotating shift; days and nights (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)


Qualifications:

Education:
B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related sciences

Required Experience and Skills:
Able to work independently, managing assigned workload
Computer proficiency; standard laboratory techniques and data management systems

Preferred Skills:
Lab data management systems
Microbiology and aseptic technique
Previous laboratory work under cGMP
Ability to read and write in English

Additional:
Expected to work in an environment with potential beta-lactam antibiotic exposure


Responsibilities:

Collect environmental monitoring samples (viable surface/air and non-viable air) of process areas
Perform environmental monitoring plate reads
Train and certify in gowning for an aseptic environment
Conduct microbiological and chemical sampling of process water, clean steam, and compressed gas
Manage data entry and documentation activities
Contribute to facilities qualification testing and protocol support
Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment
Follow standard operating procedures; propose SOP updates as needed
