• Certification Details
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS certification for Abdomen (RDMS- AB) is required.
• RVT preferred but not required.
• Must have Breast certification.
• Submission must include an unexpired copy of the candidate's drivers license.

    • Job Requirements
    • BLS (AHA) certification required.
    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMS- AB) via ARDMS Verification.
    • Cannot submit to more than 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system.
    • Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility.
    • Former permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years.
    • Previous travelers there for 1 full year must have been gone for 2 years.
    • Travel teams must be submitted together in one email.
    • Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening.
    • Breast certification is also required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts needed are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and 9:30 AM to 6 PM on a rotating shift.
      • Call rotation is required.
      • 40-hour workweek.
      • Includes night, weekend, and holiday call.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Radiology Manager is the supervising position.
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Black; scrubs are provided.
          • Additional Details
          • Department is Radiology - Ultrasound.
          • 4 scanners/rooms in the department.
          • No requirement to float/cover any other areas.
          • Types of imaging/studies performed: General US / Abdomen (renal/ liver/ RUQ/spleen), Vascular (Carotid/ femoral) / PVR / venous reflux studies, Early OB / OB Anatomy / BPP / TV.
          • Average number of scans/studies per day is 12 - 14.
          • EMR system used is Epic.
          • PACS used is Fuji.
          • Equipment used includes GE/Canon models.
          • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA's) used.
          • No in-house radiologist.
          • No IV start required.
