Job Description:

As a cashier, you'll provide friendly customer service while facilitating our patrons' transactions in our store. -You'll scan products accurately at check out and will be expected to handle different forms of money like cash, coins, debit or credit cards, mobile payments, and checks. -You'll also assist our customers by providing change if necessary, honoring coupons, and bagging items.Duties & Responsibilities -Greet customers with a smileHandle cash at the checkout counterProcess payments and complete customer transactionsGive full attention to customers and scan products accuratelyAddress customers complaints and answer questions if anyCount money in cash drawers at the start and end of shiftMake sure there is enough change in the cash drawersIssue receipts, refunds, credits, and change outstanding to customersBag, box, or wrap products at the time of checkout for the customersMaintain clean and spotless checkout counters for the customersComplete daily cleaning QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMaintain a friendly and helpful personality for our valued customersGood communication skillsAbility to work with equipment like cash registers, scanners, and credit card machinesEfficient with strong attention to detailAbility to provide change, a basic understanding of mathMaintain a professional and presentable appearance -RequirementsAbility to use computers and other technical systems required to perform job functions.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Willing to help out in other areas of the store, where and when neededAble to work on your feet for extended periods of time
