*Job Responsibilities:*
* Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the first scrub in addition to aseptic and surgical techniques.
* Demonstrates responsible behavior as a healthcare professional. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs.
* The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts.
* Anticipates the needs of the surgeon, which includes passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure.
* Serves as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas/procedures.
* May perform additional duties as assigned.

*Job Requirements:*
* *Work Schedule:* Full-time Evening Shift
* *Education*: High School diploma or equivalent
* *Experience*: 1 years of Surgical Technologist experience
* *Certification*: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.
* *License*: Registered Surgical Technologist required upon start

Pay: $32.30 - $52.65 per hour

* CST in Virginia (Required)

* Falls Church, VA 22042: Relocate before starting work (Required)
