Job Description:
OverviewThe Payments, Product and Pricing team is looking for a
senior technology manager to lead an engineering team responsible
for Managing Products and Pricing Enterprise initiative. In this
role, you will be responsible for the product development and will
partner with stakeholders to strategize, enable and deliver Product
and Pricing integrations with Cloud Native Core Banking Systems and
partner with vendors.To serve as owner and subject matter expert
for an assigned area delivering a designated service to the
organization. To provide forward-looking, industry perspective and
is responsible for the full lifecycle of the respective service
including defining Objectives, Roadmaps and Big Outcomes aligning
with Enterprise-wide initiatives. Works independently with no
supervision and serve as a mentor to Mangers. Partners with Vendor
Management Office in contract analysis and competitive market
assessment for vendor selection process. Provides actionable
feedback to Resource and Vendor Managers to ensure expected
performance to SLAs.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and guidance
to product engineering teams enabling the delivery of products,
capabilities, and services leading to desired business value
outcomes aligned to strategyPartner with product leadership and
stakeholders to define and execute business and technology strategy
including business case and roadmap development driving delivery of
products and capabilities aligned with organizational goals and
prioritiesBuild and maintain relationships with business and
technology leadership and stakeholders including external
vendorsPrepare and manage annual Change the Business and Run the
Business budgets in accordance with established variance
targetsEstablish measurable team Objectives and Key Results that
align with broader organizational objectivesDevelop workforce
strategy; build and grow product delivery teams ensuring the
appropriate resources and skills aligned to the long-term strategy
and roadmapEvaluate performance of direct reports including
managers and individual contributors; facilitate meaningful
coaching conversations on performance and development
opportunitiesRespond and adjust accordingly to industry,
technology, operational, and organizational changes; assess new
products and capabilities, technologies, and strategies, and ensure
effective operational transitionSeek and drive thought leadership
opportunities; provide perspectives on technology strategy and
trendsDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry
regulations and standards, governance policies, best practices,
business processes and technology used within related business
areas to ensure compliance with policy, procedures, standards, and
vendor contractual requirementsPerform benchmarking and trend
analysis to drive continuous improvement and elevate portfolio /
product team performancePerform other related duties as
assignedQualificationsBachelors Degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science or related fieldExperience in Migrating legacy
applications to Modern stack of technologiesExperience in Managing
integrations with Core Modernization SaaS VendorsExperience in
Product and technology development teamDeep technical expertise in
Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS); Azure Infrastructure as a
Service (IaaS) ; Azure Kubernetes ServiceExtensive experience in
cloud native architectures and technologies (e.g. Containers,
Continuous Integration and Delivery, API Management, B2B, B2C
etc.)Advanced skill in formulating a strategic vision and defining
and implementing action plans to achieve strategic goalsAdvanced
knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFE)Experience in leading,
guiding and coaching professional staffExperience in resource
allocation and managementAdvanced verbal and written communication
skillsEffective in producing desired results and achieving goals
and objectivesExperience in working with all levels of staff,
management, stakeholders, vendorsEffective skill presenting
findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and
conciselyAdvanced skill relationship building, negotiation and
facilitation skillsDesired QualificationsMasters Degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldKnowledge
of NFCU operations, processes and proceduresExperience with agile
delivery frameworks and Azure DevOpsAdvanced knowledge of
banking/financial industry standards and practicesGraduate degree
in Computer Science, Computer Applications, and/or a similar
fieldExperience of knowledge in managing teamsHours: Monday -
