immediate opening for a Test & Evaluation Engineering Support
Specialist to work from their Manassas, VA facility. This is a

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in
Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4
years job-related experience). Must have experience with one of the
following skills: the AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon
Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security
clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be
subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due
to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.
citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities:
As a CWL Test & Evaluation Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in
the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will
include:Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct
testing and integration.
Employing a professional and confident approach when working with
various engineering groups within Progeny and external entities to
define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests.
Identifying functional issues and proposing effective
resolutions.
Operating in a fast-paced, integrated product development team
comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations
and DoD laboratory entities.
Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular
progress updates.
Reporting to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree
of autonomy in your work.
This role may require intermittent travel, both independently and
as part of a team, to support test events in partner and government
labs, as well as shipboard installations in domestic and
international locations.
Specific Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day tasks will involve:Crafting comprehensive test
procedures.
Proficiently utilizing electrical measurement tools, such as
oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of
tactical systems.
Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant
drawings and port maps.
Supporting informal and formal test events, as well as other
customer-driven test activities.
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and
hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to
troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services
activities.
Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation
and operation procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
To excel in this role, you should possess:Proficiency in software
testing and analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook).
General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and
commands.
Navy or Submarine experience is a valuable asset.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
