Sr. Okta Engineer - U.S. Citizenship Required Position
Description CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Okta
Engineer supporting a shared services project - part of our CDM
DEFEND program. You will be part of a team of security and IT
operations professionals in improving security posture of a wide
range of agencies by identifying and help mitigating cyber risks.
You will work with engineering and operations teams in implementing
user access and security policies to support MFA, SSO, ABAC and
RBAC. You will provide subject matter expertise in Okta in managing
the user access management. This position is located in our
Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per
week. Your future duties and responsibilities --- Responsible for
devising and refining user access policies for various access use
cases - 2FA, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, etc. --- Responsible for onboarding
and off-boarding users to Okta for providing access to certain
applications --- Optimize the policies and user groups for
scalability and maintainability --- Troubleshoot/Resolve access and
application integration issues --- Integrate SaaS and on-premise
tools to Okta for user access --- Collaborate with other
operational and security teams members in reporting abnormal user
activity and escalation process --- Provide overall administration
for user lifecycle management --- Act as Subject Matter Expert
(SME) for Okta Required qualifications to be successful in this
role --- Due to the nature of the contract requirements, US
citizenship and successful passing of CGI background check is
required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have
ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
--- Bachelor's degree required --- 3 years of experience
configuring Okta for user access policy management and SSO,
including Okta Access Gateway (OAG) and Okta Lifecycle Management
(LCM) --- Experience performing SaaS and on-premise application
integrations with Okta --- A thorough understanding of Identity and
Access Management processes and user life-cycle management --- Very
good understanding of authentication protocols e.g. SAML 2.0
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: --- Okta
Certified Professional, Okta Certified Admin or Okta Certified
Consultant certification preferred CGI is required by law in some
jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation
range for this role. The determination of this range includes
various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience,
relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the
ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does
not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their
role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $235,200.00.
